What Can I Expect at QSR?

The acronym for our practice Quality, Service, Respect (QSR) is the standard of care we provide our patients. High Quality care from practitioners with an extensive experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment. Exceptional Service from dedicated staff who strive for the betterment of our patients through warm and welcoming care. Respect on an individualized level, meeting our patient’s needs.

What Kind of Conditions Does the Psychiatrist Treat?

Our treatment team has vast experience and knowledge in both mental health and substance abuse treatment. The spectrum of conditions most commonly treated are Anxiety, Depression, Bi-Polar/Mood Disorders, ADD/ADHD, and Schizophrenia. Other classes of disorders are within our spectrum. We also have the capabilities and resources for the detox, stabilization and on going medication managment of substance use disorders, which include Opiates, Alcohol, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Benzodiazepines.

What Kind of Treatment is Provided?

QSR specializes in the treatment of mental health conditions and substance abuse issues through a comprehensive, robust, and individualized treatment plan. Each patient meets with a provider to determine their treatment course. Medication, individual therapy, and peer support services are offered as treatment options. Referral resources can also be provided if a higher level of care is necessary.

Why Medications?

Medications are a critical component for both mental health and substance abuse treatment. QSR believes in the scientific approach and research-based evidence practices of the utilization and implementation of medications. Psychotropic medications aide with chemical imbalances in the brain, promoting regulation. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) are specific chemical dependency medications utilized for detox and stabilization. The detox medications provide relief from the withdrawal symptoms and protection from potentially life-threatening effects. Medications are equally critical to curb the cravings during treatment. When cravings are effectively controlled the patient becomes more engaged in long-term recovery through individual, group, and family counseling.

What Insurance Plans Does QSR Accept?

QSR is in network with most major commercial insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare. Prior to scheduling an initial appointment, a benefits check is conducted to determine potential out of pocket expenses that may occur. This information is carefully reviewed with each patient prior to scheduling an appointment for complete transparency. If not in network, QSR also has cash pay options.
